What driver to use for their system or application.

What driver to use for their system or application.
A. For AutoCAD prior to version 12 and all Non-Windows based programs:
1. There are no new drivers to install. In general, use a 907/PCI
driver selection such as a CalComp 104x, 102x, 2024, or 2036,
plotter driver.
B. For AutoCAD 12 or 13 (DOS, Windows 3.1x, Win 95, or Windows NT):
1. Drivers and documentation is available on the CalComp website
site (http://www.calcomp.com). The files are self-extracting.
Once downloaded, simply type the file name, and it will self-
extract, producing the documentation and driver files.
a. File name: PLPCCDOS.EXE for AutoCAD 12 or 13 DOS.
b. File name: PLPCCWIN.EXE for AutoCAD 12 or 13 Windows
(3.x, 95, or NT).
C. For AutoCAD 14 Windows 95 or Windows NT):
1. Use the ADI driver that comes with your AutoCAD program. However, if you
experience difficulty with certain pen commands, you may
download and use the file PLPCCGUI.EXE. Drivers and
documentation are available on the CalComp website
(http://www.calcomp.com).
The file is self-extracting. Once downloaded, simply type the file
name, and it will self-extract, producing the documentation and
driver files.
D. For Windows 3.x based programs, including ACAD LT:
1. Use the CalComp Windows Driver. The file is available from the
CalComp website site (http://www.calcomp.com), file name:
WIN31DRV.EXE). The file is self-extracting. Once downloaded,
simply type the file name, and it will self-extract, producing
the documentation and driver files.
a. The driver supports the PCI vector data format for this
plotter.
D. For Windows 95-based programs, including ACAD LT:
1. Use the CalComp Windows 95 Driver. The file is available from the
CalComp website (http://www.calcomp.com), file name: WIN95DRV.EXE.
The file is self-extracting. You
can also download the files 95DISK1.EXE or 95DISK2.EXE, which are
smaller than WIN95DRV.EXE. This driver does not include a vector driver
(907/PCI format.) For vector plotting, use driver WIN95VEC.EXE Once
downloaded, simply type the file name, and it will self-extract, producing the
documentation and driver files.
a. The vector driver supports the 907/PCI vector data format for this
plotter.
b. The WIN95DRV.EXE driver supports the CCRF raster format when using
the parallel port.
F. For Windows NT based programs:
1. CalComp has no drivers for Windows NT (all versions).
2. The only HPGL drivers available in Windows NT are HPGL/2. The
plotter does not accept this format.
G. For Macintosh based programs:
1. Microspot makes a driver called MacPlot which will work with this
plotter.
a. The driver may be ordered from Microspot (1-800-MAC-PLOT).
