Media tracking, jamming, buckling in Long Plot mode; Media requirements.


Model: 54424/54436 (Solus-4)

     
A.   The Long Plot mode for the 54424/54436 (Solus-4) supports bond media only. 
     
     1.   CalComp does not support Mylar(Matte Film) or Vellum with plot
          lengths over eight feet (96 inches/2.44 meters). 

     2.   Matte film can easily wrinkle and/or cause media jams with plots
          over 96 inches. 

     3.   For best results and guaranteed warranty coverage, use only bond
          media for plots longer than eight feet/2.44 meters. 

     4.   Bond media includes: 54LPB-XX, 54LSB-XX, 54LRG-XXX, and 54LEG-XXX.

B.   If tracking, jamming, or buckling should occur, check the paper path for
     obstructions.

     1.    If problems still exist and the correct media is being used,
           then the plotter requires service.
