Ext.PS(87225): Macintosh Software Installation Guidance.

A.    The External Adobe PostScript Interpreter contains five diskettes for
      the Macintosh. The Read Me First! file on the "EcoGrafix Adobe
      PostScript Interpreter Macintosh Read Me First" diskette, provides a
      general overview of the purpose of the five diskettes. The following
      summarizes the purpose of each of these diskettes:
      
      1.    EcoGrafix Adobe PostScript Interpreter Macintosh Read Me
            First diskette. (Folder name on diskette: Read Me First!).
            
            a.    This diskette provides the following functions:
                  
                  i.    The CLRWHEEL.PS sample PostScript file may be used
                        to quickly test the system. The output looks like a
                        color wheel.
                  
                  ii.   The DISKFORMAT.PS PostScript file may be used to
                        format the hard disk inside the External PostScript
                        Controller, in case the disk is replaced.
                  
                        Note: The internal hard disk shipped with the unit
                        is pre-formatted and should NOT be reformatted.)
                  
                  iii.  The DEMOPAGE.PS PostScript file may be used to send
                        a demonstration plot to the plotter.  The output is
                        a D-size demonstration page of the TechJET 175i
                        plotter.
            
            b.    For  additional information on these functions, refer to
                  the  Read Me First! file on this diskette.
      
      2.    EcoGrafix Adobe PostScript Interpreter Macintosh Adobe
            PSPrinter 8.3 Installer. (Folder name on diskette: PSPrinter).
            
            a.    This diskette contains the following:
                  
                  i.    Chooser version 7.3. Use this version if executing
                        System 7.1.2 or earlier.
                  
                  ii.   Adobe Printer Driver (PSPrinter version 8.3). This
                        driver provides Adobe PostScript Level 2 support.
                  
                  iii.  All of the latest PostScript Level 2 PPD files for
                        the printer.
            
            b.    For more information, refer to the PSPrinter Read Me file
                  on this diskette.
      
      3.    Adobe PostScript Interpreter Macintosh Adobe Type Manager
            Installer. (Folder name on diskette: Program Disk).
            
            a.    The purpose of this software is to install fonts for use
                  with Macintosh applications.
            
            b.    The two Adobe Type Manager font diskettes are required by
                  the INSTALLER program on this diskette.
            
            c.    The INSTALLER program has a viewable/printable
                  documentation file for the Adobe Type Manager. Also refer
                  to the ATM PC Quick Installation Card.

      4.    Adobe PostScript Interpreter Microsoft Windows Adobe Type
            Manager Font Disk 1 of 2. (Folder name on diskette: Font Disk 1).
            
            a.    Contains PostScript font files,  disk one of two.  Use the
                  INSTALLER program on the Adobe PostScript Interpreter
                  Macintosh Adobe Type Manager Installer diskette to install
                  the fonts.
      
      5.    Adobe PostScript Interpreter Microsoft Windows Adobe Type
            Manager Font Disk 2 of 3. (Folder name on diskette: Font Disk 2).
            
            a.    Contains PostScript font files,  disk two of two.  Use the
                  INSTALLER program on the Adobe PostScript Interpreter
                  Macintosh Adobe Type Manager Installer diskette to install
                  the fonts.
