Carriage stops midway across plotter during installation.

A.    Check for obstructions which might not allow the carriage to move left-
      to-right.

      1.    The plotter is shipped with a shipping support bracket. 
            This bracket is approximately four inches long and is U-shaped. 
            If it has not been removed, then remove it by performing the
            following steps.

            a.    Turn off the power to the plotter.

            b.    Remove the U-shaped shipping bracket. It is easily removed 
                  without any tools. It is easiest to see from the rear of the 
                  plotter.

                  Note: Do not attempt to remove the smaller brace that is held
                  in place with screws to the y-axis shaft.

            c.    Turn on the plotter power.
