Error Log Conflict Warnings appear in NT 3.5x or 4.0


A.   Due to the way that the Summagraphics drivers allocate COM
     ports in Windows NT 3.5x, Error Log Conflict Warnings will
     always be received.  These warnings are nothing more than a
     notice that the SummaSoft drivers have taken over the COM
     port before NT was able to install its own COM support for
     that specific port.  Due to the techniques used by Microsoft
     to create error logs, there is no way to disable the warnings
     without completely removing the drivers.

     This conflict report is more of a confirmation that the 
     drivers have loaded and are functioning properly with
     respect toward COM port allocation.

     To retrieve additional information on the error logs
     in the NT Event Viewer via the Internet please read
     the following:
