What driver to use for their system or application (6603VRC/6613VRC).
A. For all files listed below with extensions of ZIP, use PKUNZIP version
2.04G, available on the CalComp Web site (http://www.calcomp.com)
file name PKZ204G.EXE) to unzip the file. Once the pkz204g.exe file
has been downloaded, type at the DOS prompt: PKZ204G. (This will
create the pkunzip program). Then type at the DOS prompt: PKUNZIP file
(to unzip the file). Copy the file to the appropriate directory.
1. For DOS-based programs, use one of the following:
a. Freedom of Press for SFR1 data emulation. Freedom of
Press is available from most local computer software
stores.
b. Drivers that are shipped with the DOS-based software
which support VDI emulation.
c. Drivers that are shipped with the DOS-based software
which support the CalComp 907/PCI emulation (Models 104x
and 102x are two models which have been in use for
several years).
2. For Windows based software, use one of the following:
a. SuperPrint for SFR1 emulation. SuperPrint is made
by Zenographics (800-566-7468). Please contact them
directly for pricing and availability.
b. For vector (line art) type output, the Windows vector
driver may be used. Select the 907/PCI component of
this driver. These drivers are available for download from
the CalComp Website (http://www.calcomp.com).
i. For Windows 3.1x, use WIN31DRV.EXE.
ii. For Windows 95, use WIN95VEC.EXE.
3. For Macintosh-based systems, use one of the following:
a. Use a MacPlot driver for vector (line-art) output.
MacPlot is available from MicroSpot (800-622-7568).

4. For all other systems or applications, this printer supports
the following emulations: CCGL (CalComp 907/PCI vector),
- SFR1 raster (CalComp Small Format Raster), Epson FX-80 (text
only), and VDI (Virtual Device Interface).
