The driver file (TJACAD13.EXE) may be may be downloaded
from the CalComp Website (http://www.calcomp.com. 
Self-extract the file by typing at the DOS prompt: TJACAD13

Hardware Connection Requirements:
   PC Host Computer with a working parallel port (i.e. lpt1).
   Parallel cable, Centronics connector.
   CalComp 5017 Printer must be connected to a PC directly for this
   configuration. (See Users Guide, pages 1-12 and 1-13).
   Network systems may require different communication parameter settings.

1. Setup TechJet personal (5017):
   - Ensure that dip switch settings under cover next to POWER button are
     set. Dip switches 1 and 2 down, all others up.
     (See Users Guide, page 1-16, 1-17).
   - Power ON the printer. Install ink jet cartridge. (See Users Guide,
     pages 1-8 through 1-11).
   - Load media. (See Users Guide, chapter 2).
   - Select print quality. (See Users Guide, page 3-6).
   - Press ONLINE button to place the printer on-line, ready to print.
     (See Users Guide, page 3-2).

2. Install the TechJET Personal AutoCAD 13/Windows ADI Driver*:
   - Install the driver. Proceed as follows:
     a.  Place the diskette containing the CalComp TechJET Personal AutoCAD
         13/Windows ADI Driver into the floppy drive, A: or B:.
     b.  At the DOS prompt, type the drive letter that diskette is installed
         into, (either A: or B:) and press ENTER.
     c.  Type: CD \ACAD and press ENTER.
     d.  Copy the driver file to the appropriate AutoCAD directory. If
         AutoCAD is installed on the C: drive in directory ACADR13, then type
         the following:
         COPY PLPCCTJ.DLL  C:\ACADR13\WIN\DRV\*.*

     e.  When the drive has finished copying the file, remove the floppy
     diskette from the drive.

3. Setup AutoCAD:
   - Start Windows.
   - Start AutoCAD 13 for Windows.
   - Configure AutoCAD 13 for Windows.
     a.  At the command prompt in AutoCAD 13 for Windows, type CONFIG.
     b.  At Configuration Menu choose Configure operating parameters.
     c.  At Operating parameters choose: Default Plot File Name, and type in
         the port that is being used (e.g., LPT1, if using LPT1).
     d.  Exit to Configuration Menu and choose Configure plotter.
     e.  Choose Add a plotter configuration.
     f.  From Available Plotters choose
         CalComp TechJET Personal ADI 4.2 V1.2 by CalComp
     g.  Select media size.
     h.  Select number of copies.
     i.  Would you rather decide this for each plot? Y or N.
     j.  Resolution: 1 = 360 x 360.
     k.  Plot Size in millimeters: N.
     l.  Maximum horizontal/vertical size? (Select defaults).
     m.  Enter port: LPT1 (if using lpt1).
     n.  Change anything? NO.
     o.  Enter description of plotter = CalComp TechJET Personal.
     p.  Exit to Configuration Menu. Exit to Main Menu. Keep Configuration
         Changes = YES.
  
   - Bring up a test file for plotting.
   - Type PLOT at the command prompt to plot the drawing.
   - Check the box to write the plot to a file and click on OK when all
     of the other parameters are set up.
   - By writing the plot to a file with the file name being set to the
     port, DOS I/O will be used which is the most reliable form of I/O.

Guide, pages 2-2 and 2-3.
