Plotter displays: DPRAM ERROR message on power-up.

A. If the Centronics parallel cable is being used, sometimes the plotter
will hang because it is getting an invalid signal from the computer.
Perform the following steps:
1. Unplug the Centronics parallel cable from the plotter
2. Turn the power off on the plotter, wait 3 seconds, and then turn
the plotter power back on.
3. If the plotter completes initialization, plug the Centronics
parallel cable back into the plotter and proceed as normal with
plotting.
4. If the plotter does not complete initialization, check the
following:
a. If the serial cable is connected, perform the following:
i. Unplug the serial cable connection from the plotter.
There should be no communications cables connected to
the plotter.
ii. Turn the power off on the plotter, wait 3 seconds,
and then turn the plotter power back on.
b. With no communication cabling connected to the plotter, if
the plotter does not complete initialization, the plotter
requires service.
