Rotary blade does not cut very well.

A. The rotary blade will not cut a perfect rotary-edge cut. There are,
      however, some things to check:

      1. The rotary blade needs to be able to freely rotate. check to see
if the rotary blade rotates freely.

      2. Check the thumbscrew which secures the rotary blade. If it has
become loose, the rotary blade will wobble as it rotates.

      3. The channel where the rotary blade moves to perform the cutting
            operation may be misaligned.

            a. The channel is comprised of the platen (plastic) and rear
                  platen (metal).

            b. In shipment, this rear platen does occasionally get out of
position. If this is the problem, then as the rotary blade
moves from left to right, the blade will stop rotating in
places where the channel is too narrow. By placing a mark
on the rotary blade, this can be readily observed.

            c. To remedy, the rear platen will need to be reseated in the
                  correct position. Perform the following:

                  i. Push down on the rear platen. Press all the way
                        across from left to right.

ii. If the platen does not go down, then it may need to
be pulled back or pressed forward to get it to be
                        positioned correctly.

      4. The rotary blade may be dull and needs to be replaced.
