A.    The Ribbon Type refers to the number of panels installed in the printer.
      The printer does not autosense this value. It must be manually set on
      the printer. Possible values are: 1 (black only); 3 (yellow, magenta,
      and cyan panels); and 4 (yellow, magenta, cyan, and black panels). To
      examine or change this value, perform the following:

      1.    With the printer displaying: ONLINE, press the ENTER key on the
            printer. The printer will display: OFFLINE.

      2.    Press the Down Arrow key on the printer. The cursor on the
            display will be on SETUPS.

      3.    Press the ENTER key on the printer. The printer displays: SETUPS
            with the cursor on USER.

      4.    Press the ENTER key on the printer. The printer displays: USER.

      5.    Press the Right Arrow key on the printer to move the cursor to
            the PRINTER selection.

      6.    Press the ENTER key on the printer. The IMAGE SIZE is displayed.

      7.    Press the Down arrow key until the printer displays: RIBBON TYPE.
            To modify: Press the Right Arrow key once; Press the Down Arrow
            key on the printer until the desired value is displayed; and
            press the ENTER key on the printer to accept the selection.

      8.    Press the CLEAR key until the printer displays: ONLINE.
