Not communicating or cannot print from a Macintosh.

A. If the printer does not show up in the Chooser, then the cable or port
on the computer may be defective.
1. Try another cable.
2. If this is the only device connected to the computer, then the
port on the computer may be defective. Try connecting to another
computer.
3. If another output device is available, try connecting it to the
computer. If it does not show up in the Chooser, there might be
a problem with the operating system and/or driver. Contact the
software manufacturer for assistance.
4. If still unsuccessful getting the 6603XF/6613XF to show up in the
Chooser, then either there is a software problem with the
software driver, its installation, or the port on the printer may
be defective. If the port on the printer is defective, the
printer requires service. If the wrong driver is being used, a
replacement may be obtained from the CalComp Web Site (http//:www.calcomp.com).
The file name is CMXF-MAC.HQX. Use the MacBinary file transfer
option when downloading files for the Macintosh. The file, once
downloaded, is self-extracting. Simply double-click on the file
name icon and it will create the documentation and driver files.
