The Windows PCI/907 driver file (WIN31DRV.EXE) may be downloaded 
from the CalComp Website (http://www.calcomp.com). 
Self-extract the file by typing at the DOS prompt: WIN31DRV

Hardware Connection Requirements:
  PC Host Computer with a working parallel port (i.e. lpt1).
  Parallel cable, Centronics connector.
  CalComp 30xx Plotter must be connected to a PC directly for this
  configuration.  Network systems may require different communication
  parameter settings.

1. Setup DesignMate:
   - Power ON the plotter.
   - Install pen(s) in turret and place turret in DesignMate.
   - Load media (8.5 in. x 11 in. is recommended).
   - Make sure both pinch rollers are down.
   - Press SET UP button. (Wait until the plotter stops plotting).
   - Choose AUTO for ORIENTATION.
   - To choose the current value, press SET UP.
   - To change to the next value (option) press ON LINE.
   - The plotter will draw a box around the value that you selected.
   - Please refer to the Users Guide on Page 18-19 for more information.
   - Choose 100% for SCALE, when pen at 100% then press SET UP.
   - Choose 10 ips/250 mmps (3024)  or FINAL PLOT (3036) for VELOCITY
   - Choose PCI for PROTOCOL.
   - Choose CENTRONICS for PORT TYPE.
   - Choose C:(1,2,NO,3) for PCI SET UP.
   - Choose ENABLED for PLOT MANAGER.
   - Choose ENGLISH for LANGUAGE.
   - Lift up the pinch rollers and take the media out to save the settings.
   - Load media for plotting.

2. Setup Windows driver:
   - Start up Windows.
   - Double click on Control Panel.
   - Double click on Printers.
   - Highlight CCP DesignMate (907) on LPTx. (If the Windows PCI/907
     driver is not installed, install it now by selecting RUN from the File
     menu bar in Program Manager and selecting the SETUP.EXE file from the
     disk directory where the Windows driver is located. Then follow the
     menu choices, selecting the appropriate DesignMate plotter driver.
     When done, double click on Control Panel, double click on Printers,
     and select the PCI/907 driver).
   - Choose connect and select the LPT port that the plotter is
     connected to. (Default = LPT1).
   - Choose Setup.
   - Choose paper size loaded in plotter.
   - Choose Assign Pens.
   - Assign screen colors to pen turret position numbers.
   - Choose OK in Pen Assignments.
   - Choose OK in Setup.
   - Choose Set as default printer.
   - Make sure Use Print Manager is NOT selected
   - Close Printers.
   - Close Control Panel.
   - Start Windows Application and print to CalComp plotter.
