Plotter displays: Bad EEROM Error message.
  
  A. If the plotter displays: BAD EEROM DATA RE-INITIALIZING error message,
     then it needs to be re-initialized to the factory settings.  All unique
     settings will be lost. There is no other way to clear this error.
     Perform the following steps:
  
     1. Press and release the lower right hand soft key and wait for 2
        minutes.  The soft keys are the four light colored buttons that
        surround the display.
     
     2. The plotter will reinitialize and then prompt to load paper.
     
     3. Since the unique settings in the plotter were lost (e.g.,  the host
        communication settings for a specific application and/or operating
        system (PC, Macintosh,  SUN, etc.), re-enter those settings at this
        time.  Below are the plotter factory defaults for Host
        Communications.
     
           Format (plotter language)     = PCI
           Baud  Rate                    = 9600
           Data Bits                     = 7, 1, even
           Handshake                     = ACK/NAK
           Sync Codes                    = 2, 22
           End of Message                = 13
           Checksum                      = enabled
