When Installing PlotWare, computer halts or reboots.

When Installing PlotWare, computer halts or reboots.
A. When installing the PlotWare program, the installation program will:
create a directory on the hard disk called plotware; copy all of the
files from the floppy diskette to the plotware directory on the hard
disk; attempt to execute a program called START.EXE; and finally,
execute the PLOTWARE.EXE program.
B. The START.EXE program produces some introductory messages using
graphical images on the video monitor. Depending on the type of video
card installed on the PC, the START.EXE program may cause the PC to
halt or reboot. If this happens, reboot the computer and at the DOS
prompt, type the following:
CD \PLOTWARE
PLOTWARE
C. The START.EXE program may be deleted from the hard disk, if desired,
since it is not needed by PLOTWARE.EXE.
