determine current firmware level on the following plotters:
Classic Plotter Model 4036:
Pacesetter Models 2024 or 2036
TechJET Designer Models 5424 or 5436
TechJET Model 5524 or 5536
Color TechJET Models:
5324, 5336
5324GT, or 5336GT
5324i, 5336i
 | Power on plotter |
 | Firmware revision will appear in Control Panel
within the first 10 seconds. |

firmware level on a DesignMate Plotter Models 3024 or 3036
 | Power on Plotter and allow it
to initialize |
 | Load Media |
 | Press the Setup key - Plotter will produce a Setup plot,
which includes firmware revision |
How to determine current
firmware level on a 104X Plotter
 | Power off plotter |
 | Remove Rom Pack (located on left side of the plotter,
about two (2) feet above the floor) |
 | Read firmware revision level from the label on the Rom
Pack |
 | Replace the Rom Pack carefully, observing the key blocks
in the pin housing. The pins can be bent easily, if you are not careful.
Note: The Rom Pack is a black plastic case, about 1"x3"x5" |
How to determine current
firmware level on an Artisan Plotter
 | On the Control Panel, press the "Test" key. |
 | Press the REV key. |
 | Read the firmware revision from the Control Panel Display. |
How to determine current
software level on a DrawingMaster Plus or DrawingMaster Professional
 | Power up the plotter and allow it to initialize
completely. |
 | Press the "Online" button to take the plotter
offline (Online Light is off) |
 | Press the "Paper Feed" button, and hold it, then
press "Online". |
 | Release both buttons simultaneously. |
The plotter will produce a Demo Plot. Software revision
level is printed in the lower right corner.

software level on a DrawingMaster 600 or DrawingMaster 800
 | Power on the plotter and allow it to initialize normally. |
 | Press the Scroll Button (the button on the left, with 3
rectangles) until Control Panel reads "More Options" then press the Select
Button (the button on the right with a Check Mark). |
 | Press the Scroll Button until the Control Panel reads
"Plotter Configuration". Press the Select Button. |
 | Press the Scroll Button until the plotter reads
"Software Version" |

 | Power on the plotter and allow it to initialize normally. |
 | Press the Scroll Button (the button on the left, with 3
rectangles) until Control Panel reads "More Options" then press the Select
Button (the button on the right with a Check Mark). |
 | Press the Scroll Button until the Control Panel reads
"Plotter Configuration". Press the Select Button. |
 | Press the Scroll Button until the plotter reads

determine current firmware level on a 5725, 5735, 57424, 57436, 5825, 5835, 58424, 58436
 | If the plotting system includes a terminal, type Ctrl - P
to enter "Local mode", then type rev. The terminal will display the
software revision. |
 | If no terminal is included, then power off the plotter,
then remove the Rompak in the rear of the plotter. Read the revision from the
Rompak. |
How to
determine current firmware level on a 67436 or 68436
 | If the plotting system includes a terminal, type Ctrl - P
to enter "Local mode", then type rev. The terminal will display the
software revision. |
 | With the Control Panel, initiate a Demo Plot. The
plot statistics at the end of the plot include firmware version information. The
Demo Plot is Test number 10. |
How to Determine the Firmware Level of Your
EcoPro
Power on the printer and allow it to initialize.
On the Control Panel
Press the Scroll button until "MORE OPTIONS" is displayed then press the Select
button.
Press the Scroll button until "PRINTER CONFIG" is displayed then press the
Select button.
Press the Scroll button until "OS REVISION" is displayed. This will indicate the
current firmware.
To exit this menu
Press the Scroll button until "EXIT TO SUB-MENU" is displayed then press the
Select button.
Press the Scroll button until "EXIT TO MAIN" is displayed then press the Select
button.
"ONLINE" will be displayed.
