The Windows CCRF/PS driver file (WIN95DRV.EXE), may be downloaded 
from the CalComp Website (http://www.calcomp.com). Self-extract the file by typing at the DOS prompt: WIN95DRV

Hardware Connection Requirements:

  PC Host Computer with a working parallel port (i.e. lpt1).
  Parallel cable, Centronics connector.
  CalComp 56xx Plotter must be connected to a PC directly for this
  configuration.  Network systems may require different communication
  parameter settings.


1. Setup Designer (5624, 5624S, 5636, 5636S,):
   - Power ON the plotter.  Load media.
     Make sure both pinch rollers are down.  Press MENU button.
   - Press DOWN arrow key to PROTOCOL and set to AUTO.
   - Press DOWN arrow key to INPUT RESOLUTION and set to 360 DPI.
   - Press DOWN arrow key to PORT TYPE and set to CENTRONICS.
   - Press DOWN arrow key to EOP TIMER and set to Disabled.
   - Press DOWN arrow key to Save as user number and save the settings
     on USER # (1 to 4).
   - Press ONLINE button twice.
   - The plotter should say "ONLINE    000:00".

2. Setup Win95 driver:
   - Start up Windows 95.
   - Click on the START button, click on SETTINGS, click on Printers.
   - Click on the appropriate TechJET 720c driver. (If the
     Windows 95 CCRF/PS raster driver is not installed, install it now by
     selecting "Add Printer", then "Have Disk".  Enter the path that points to
     the disk directory where the Windows driver is located. Then
     follow the menu choices, selecting the appropriate TechJET 720c
     plotter driver. If the setup program indicates that the driver already
     exists, select Replace the Driver. When installation is done, click on
     the CCP TechJET 720c driver, then 
   - Click on Set as Default from the File Menu Bar in the Printers window.
   - Click on Properties from the File Menu Bar in the Printers window.
   - Click on the Details tab.
   - Select the LPT port that the plotter is connected to. (Default = LPT1).
   - Click on the Paper tab.
   - Choose paper size loaded in plotter.
   - Click on the Device Options tab and select the appropriate output format:
     CCRF or PS. If the plotter does not have the PostScript option, then
     only CCRF may be selected.
   - Choose OK in the Properties window.
   - Close Printers.
   - Start the Windows Application and print to the CalComp plotter.
