A.   Check to see if the media adapter is installed without the flange on 
     the left hand end, as viewed from the front.
    
     1.  The flange is a large disk-shaped washer. If this flange was not 
         installed on the media adapter, then the media roll will be able 
         to move too far to the left on the media adapter.  When the media 
         is then loaded onto the plotter and aligned to the load line, the 
         media will be cocked at an angle, and will track to the right in 
         the plotter, causing media buckling or tearing against the right 
         pinch roller.

     2.  Resolve the problem by installing the flange on the left hand end 
         of the media adapter.
